How does that work? As far as I know Nintendo doens't have any sort of cloud saving feature.

i dont remember when(maybe in feb) but rumor was nintendo was working on something to make 3DS games play/work with Wii U. Srry dont kno exact details O.o Anyway makes sense since SSB will automatically be a big hit.

If you are talking about MH3U, they have a save transfer utility from the eShop on 3DS that's already in the Wii U game where you can transfer saves and extra contents to each other, which I have on my 3DS ATM(my character save) after transfering from my Wii U last night. They also have an app on Wii U that lets 3DS and Wii U play together online which works somewhat like the adhoc app on PS3 for PSP games(using hard line for internet and wireless for 3DS with Wii U as the host.) You can also play on Wii U and 3 other 3DS if you want.

look for the app on eShop on Wii U. It's like MH sys link or something, you need a Wii U Ethernet USB Adapter though, which I've had since the Wii days. Can ebay that for like 10 bucks.

oops I was mistaken, it's for people that don't have a Wii U copy but want to play online, I don't think you can do online with 2 people just yet. The packet relay tool is pretty much the PS3 Adhoc mode app for PSP but requires a Wii U user to host the game.
