Conan PS3

Nay, Conan looked solid for a game released in 2007.

The game would have decent graphics if it was a PS2/X-Box title. Most screenshots one can find in the internet look much better than the game itself.

For 2007, its a decent looking games. Images taken from bright colorful areas look much more impressive.

Deadly Premonition was one of the worst looking games actually on HD consoles. Pictures look decent, but it genuinely looked like a PS2 game. Character models not very far also had terrible jerky animation. It wasn't even during the transition phase, it was released in 2010!

Deadly Premonition is one of the worst games of the 7th generation in my book, and not because it's ugly; because its one of the most tedious and just plain un-fun games I've ever played. Speaking of the graphics, though, it's like they didn't even try. Even for a low budget title there are so many technical oversights that seem more the result of laziness than budget.

I actually kinda liked the game, mostly because of the story and I love the conversations the main character has with his imaginary friend. It could have easily been a much better game with a few changes that pace it better.

The biggest problem with Japanese games in my opinion is they are bad with pacing.

Yeah, the pace lost me, it was too loose and meandering for me.

The main reason I'm not into JRPGs is that they typically take forever to get going, and I just lose interest before they do. I'm not a patient guy.

Anyway, back to the faeces-fest!

Worst looking (full) games I have played are

Saints row (great fun, but xbox 1 graphics)

Silent hill Homecoming

Dynasty warriors 6 split screen co-op beats them both in motion.
Large groups of enemies continually fade in and out as you run around the simple geometry. It was still a lot of fun, better then homecoming in that department.

Most of the worst was 2005-2007, during the transition to next gen

One that stuck out for me was at launch with Call of Duty 2

Actually Call of Duty 2 looked damn good considering it was a launch title (or near enough launch)

And it ran at 60 fps too.

Sound was incredible in it.
