Wii outsold the PS3 because of it's motion controls so Sony made Move, seriously it's not just MS that does this lol

Sony did motion controls the gen before, Nintendo just found a way to make it work. Sony was going to do motion controls anyway and if you watch any video in 2004 they started working on the move after the PSEye released. They wanted to push the limits of motion controls.

I do not think so, I think MS will cater to a different strategy.

You mean like Sony? Competition forced them to lower the price of their $600 machine, improve their online services, and put out better 1st party games. Competition inspired Sony to be a less arrogant company.

The PC business is kinda struggling now that everything is going mobile. So its no surprise Windows is becoming a more mobile friendly OS. And its just not Apple that MS is competing with, Android will eventually trounce the iOS userbase.

I really don't understand your logic sometimes... most times... maybe all the time.

Aw we gettin' Okami HD and The Cave next month...sweeeet

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

I really can't see how PS+ can be profitable. They offer countless free games, and now we're getting Vita games also. Oh it might be an incentive for us to buy the Vita therefore indirectly resulting in some profit.

I presume PS+ generates millions of dollars and Sony uses its own games as an incentive to get subscribers. Sony just throws a piece of the profits at 3rd parties for games that probably aren't or never were generating much money. Its a simple concept. Its also a nice advertising tool for some publishers. For example they can give out the predecessor to a sequel. Which is what happened with Darksiders, Farcry, Borderlands, and other games.

Look at Gametap, for $10 a month you get access to nearly a thousand games. I'm more curious how a service like that finds success and support.

Don't think so, Microsoft generates most of their profit from live, why would they ever make it less profitable by adding "free games" if the fans of said system are willing to pay for it (even though they shouldn't because it is clearly a rip off when everyone else does it for free and it costs almost nothing to have an online service and servers up).

As the clear market leader Microsoft will continue a successfull strategy that gives great value to its customers. I think Sony will continue to develop ps+ in an effort to compete with live but as it currently stands it will be Sony that will have to continue to find ways to compete with live not the other way around.

Please direct me to this 'great value for money' you speak of. I must have been missing something these past 8 years..

OT: they'll probably offer a few more deals on games and do more promotions as the months go by and the 360 lifetime comes to an end but nowhere near to the value consumers get off playstation plus.

Not having to play with people like you who can only bitch about others it is totally worth the money to play Gold and Great value for money.
