It isn't at all clear based on those pictures which phone is better, as there is a lot more to it than that. They are both great phones. It is, however, clear that you just don't like Samsung based on your ability to just act like the HTC One walks all over the Galaxy S4.

Well, the design is better, and you can't discredit that just because you use a case.
Battery feature is valid, I'll give you that.
Camera on HTC one is superior, there was a comparison over on the verge. I can't find it now, but I will look.
Anyway, S4 has 13 megapixels, but megapixels don't really matter, it's about the sensors, and what you do with the pixels. HTC One uses ultra pixels, which let in more light, for clearer pictures. You clearly don't understand cameras.
Also, HTC one has a better screen, they are both 1080 p, but the galaxy uses Pentile, which makes it look washed out. Being a little bit smaller also makes it look better as well. Besides, who needs a 5 inch phone anyway? Sammy is getting ridiculous with the enlargement of their phones.
I don't dislike Samsung, it's just clear that they got beat this year in terms of quality. Do your research, and stop defending a piece of plastic like it's your grandmother, and I just beat her.

I just recently responded to a post similar to this but yours isn't as bad. However you still seem to assume some things.
1. You say the design is better. I just want to point out that this is your opinion. The design of one phone can be better to one person whereas the design of another phone can be better to someone else. That is always opinion.
2. In what sense is the HTC one's camera better? You always sacrifice something when you choose to do something different and HTC's camera takes better than average low light pics, and bad flash pics. i.e it's comparable to the camera's in current flagship smartphones (its been compared to the Xperia Z, Iphone 5, Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 and they all stacked up very well) for one exception; if you were to enlarge a picture taken by the one, it would look awful but HTC wouldn't tell you that would they, hmm guess ultrapixel 4mp is not impressive afterall.
3. The phone is not made from "a piece of plastic" like you claim. When you say it like that you only make yourself sound biased and need to rely on bashing to win your argument. It's made from polycarbonate. A material that is about 300 times stronger than plastic, scratch resistant, and very durable. I dare you to whack your head with a GSIII phone and tell me if you're still okay.
3. Why would a full HD screen look washed out? I have a Galaxy Note 2 and it doesn't look washed out. And the S4 screen being bigger is an advantage too. And what are you talking about? HTC just made the Droid DNA which is a 5 inch phone sooooo its not only Samsung, its HTC too ;)
The S4 is a very well built phone, and Samsung uses quality to build them too and people enjoy them. I've done my research. I've owned HTC and Samsung phones before. I don't hate HTC and I don't hate Samsung. So how about you do your research.
