China: 1.3 billion, approaching 1.4

India: 1.1 billion, increasing at unprecedented rate.

I think videogames are too young to go truly global.

1 billion people live there, but i havent heard anything about it releasing there

tag:"reviews only matter for the real hardcore gamer"

Maybe for India, Nintendo can make a special edition "buddha" wii available! (it will sell millions!)

For China, they can put Jet Li or Jackie Chan on it!!!! (though those 2 don't come from China, they could pass off as Chinese.)

Do the Chinese all have enough money to buy video games, I thought that most of them are farmers and stuff like that.

You're wrong, about half of China's population lives in cities.

And yes, many Chinese do have money to buy a Wii if they want to. Whether they want to or not is up to debate, but what I said before certainly isn't.

Make no mistake, China is a huge market and a great opportunity for Nintendo.

My Mario Kart Wii friend code: 2707-1866-0957

no...
they don't count anything from china...
look at that iQue DS.......
& there is no way that chinese government would let you check their information from other country.

Poor PS3 Sales Means Smaller Losses

"Actually, because the number of units sold was not as high as we hoped, the loss was better than our original expectation," Quotes from Sony’s CFO Nobuyuki Oneda.
