I agree completely. And to your second point, the WiiU gamepad could be aptly used as an advantage over the other consoles as well.
Word to Nintendo: Same way we see COD commercials with the 360 logo at the end, put some funding into Watch Dogs ads displaying the WiiU gamepad functionality to help with consumer association between the game and the console.
It depends on how big the initial adoption rates are for the two new consoles and if Nintendo can get the Wii U out of the "first year rut" by time the holiday season comes. There is a good chance that they can will upright it even if it means a 3DS like price cut (making the 3 sku's $250, $300 and $330). Plus I think there will be more "stop gap" games announced for the fall/winter season to beef up the release list. So I will say it has a good chance of beating the individual next gen numbers but probally not both. (To beat both the Wii U would need a serious lead.)
Good question, also a good question would be: Will the PS360 versions of these games sell more than the next gen versions ?
I think ACIV would do better on last gen systems, while Watch Dogs will probably do better on next gen systems.

I would agree with that. Since ACIV is launching pretty much together and Watch Dogs is PC/Next gen first, later ports seldom sell better.
Wasn't there a boycott on Ubisoft by Nintendo fans for the Rayman incident that would affect sales? Or did that whole thing blow over after a week like every other thing people on the internet get mad about?

Since WiiU is "next gen" I chose the option "the poll makes no sense at all"

I'd imagine the Wii U versions will sell marginally more, simply because by the time they launch the Wii U will have around a 5 million install base headstart.

I think after the sale they put all of their titles under for a week (30% off) on the eShop, them announcing Watch_Dogs and ACIV, and them claiming they will continue to develop the game, it just blew most of the hate over. I just hope the game doesn't become "overdeveloped", ala Duke Nukem Forever and Too Human.
