You do realize that the only reason anyone even bought a Wii U is for Mario.

if you can prove that you have become the worlds first mind-reader or conducted one of the most intense studies ever. I can just as easily say everyone bought a Wii U because they believe in the NWO.
@BasilZero
I'm not having this debate with you. There's no point because you don't understand the foundations of a logical argument. It's like you're a blind man trying to argue what the colour blue looks like.

Plus, Fire Emblem is TBS (turn based strategy) which doesn't have a huge following besides Civilization. I love TBS games though such as FE, Advance Wars, Civilization, etc.. I'm actually a little surprised how much demand for FE in USA right now. Apparently, they didn't ship that many physical copies to USA and there is a shortage in a lot of areas. I finally tracked down a physical copy but I know many that just gave up and bought it on the eshop (D21, Smeags, and a few others). So for some reason Fire Emblem is more in demand now then it has ever been in the USA. |

I like to think this helped a lot.

Well there isn't any other game worth buying. Can Yup imagine how much Wii U would have sold with out Mario? It would be worse off that the Virtual Boy. |
Well I recon everyone who bought the Wii U did so not for Mario but to prove to the New World Order who is really in charge.
Dude, you are just guessing and asserting your opnion as fact...You've literally no idea why people bought the Wii U; you are just presuming it was for Mario.

I assume you have a perfect understanding then?

Why would I? That's not relevant to my point. Unless someone conducts a very indepth survey of all the Wii U customers, we can only speculate, at best, why people bought the console.

I'm sorry if the truth hurts but yes Mario is still mass appealing - even if you hate Nintendo and Mario you still have to admit the IP brand still is powerful especially considering it moved yes - it moved that many units by itself even though its a re-hash of a game that came out less than a year ago. The numbers are there - this isnt even a debate anymore - I'm stating facts relating to the topic on why Nintendo games have ridiculous legs - yet you have more than 5 posts going off topic about how I dont have "Mature Logical debate". |
Actually a lot of people bought the Wii U just to play ZombiU.
And a lot of other people bought it just to play Batman again because of the Trailer for the Wii U having the awesome definitive version of the game.
There was also people who bought it for Nintendo Land.
I was surpirse that only 54% of Wii U owners actually bought it for Mario U at all.
