Evangeline Lilly would make a good Lara Croft.

To pull off Lara, you'd need to look good smelly and dirty, and she does look good when acting as Kate Austen in Lost.

That said, the voice actress for the new Lara Croft did an incredible job and I'd choose her to play Lara as well.

I love Evangeline Lilly, and not just because LOST is my favorite show.  She does very believable acting -  even more impressive considering she had very little experience before LOST.  She was a model on Electric Playground, in a Live Links commercial, and had just small uncredited roles here and there.  Not sure how good she'd be at playing Lara, but yeah, she does look good dirty.  :P

Camilla, since shes the new Lara Croft in videogame. I know it's happened in reverse but I don't remember the actor of a videogame becoming the actor in the movie. (I could be wrong).

Though I think the bigger issue is that she's not as big of name as angelina jolie. So she wouldn't bring anyone to see the movie by herself. I liked the other tomb raider movies too, they were camp fun, not classics or anything.

Rhona Mitra, right looks, right attitude, natural and sexy english accent. A Tomb Raider reboot will hardly hinge upon fantastic acting anyways...

I fear that Rhona would be too old to play the young Lara needed for the movie, but I always wished she had been in the original movies instead of Jolie.  It would've provided much better acting (and eye candy) as well as a closer resemblance to the character.

Megan Fox, and the movie should be directed by Michael Bay, that's a winning recipee!

Don't know who this Camilla Luddington is, but I see a few posts mentioning her and it made me think of this song

No, not Jennifer Lawrence.

Kate Beckinsale. And I will shoot anyone (figuratively) who says she's too old. She's hot, she's fit and she does action movies better than Jen Lawrence. Yeah I like Underworld, over all, better than Hunger Games, and that includes the books.

Kate's obviously hot - very hot - and she's proven herself as a great actor in an action role.  But the truth is she is indeed too old to play this younger Lara and just doesn't look like the character (my opinion).  Lawrence is the right age with the right look and The Hunger Games shows that she can handle a bow.  :P

Indeed. I never understood casting Jolie in that role, I guess its because she was becoming a big name by then, people are always set towards selling a movie with a famous lead rather than on the films own merit, good writing or any other measure. A shame really.

Yuck I hate Jennifer Lawrence. What's with everyone's creepy obsession for her? Honestly I'd prefer this.

(Yes I know I already posted this in the other thread but she needs more attention)
