so i was looking at the numebers in of the front page and i noticed that the 3DS numbers in NA are pretty bad, not Vita bad but still, they arent doing so well. actually the difference between the Vita and 3DS in NA is just about 15K this week.

so my question is, with sony probably introducing a price cut to vita later this year could the vita start to outsell the 3DS in NA sometime in the future? if you look at the numbers this isnt really insane to ask

Edit : to be clear, im not talking about the vita outdoing it now or in the next couple of months, im asking in the future, like maybe next year

Luigi's Mansion this month, Animal Crossing in the summer, and Pokemon in fall. I don't see it happening.

Vita with God of War, and price cut could outsell 3DS during a drought month though.

Nope, seems very unlikely to me unless a major major price cut

this month is pretty much out of the question, hell until september its pretty much out of the question. but could we see a day where the vita outsells the 3ds in NA on a somwhat regularly basis?

I don't know about a regular basis, no I don't see it happening for a while, however once the Vita gets the games it needs, and 3DS starts to wear down, the Vita will start to beat it. 

Playstation systems are always slow burners, when it finally gets steam, it will outsell the 3DS during various drought montsh, and towards the end of it's lifecycle. Don't expect it to become a common occurence though.

Not without a proper price, also the Vita sold about 30,000 last month.

Luigi's Mansion, Animal Crossing, and Pokemon do present a problem for Vita though.
Vita's best chance for recovery is in Japan. All it needs is a Monster Hunter game, which I'm sure will come.
