I have Sprint, and have had Sprint for the past 10 years as my sole phone provider since my first phone.  My last phone was a "HTC Evo" and I had none of these issues.  I never had dropped calls, even visiting folks in rural areas, and the internet was amazing on it.  I could watch a video with no buffering, now even Google takes a minute or so to load. So, unless Sprint has downgraded their system I don't quite get that.  Someone told me it is becuase it is "LTE" and why it is so much worse, but I can not speak to that.

I do not modify or do anything to my phone, I barely use it because of the issues I've had.  Unresponsive often to touch, to locking to force closing to losing text or call history. I had problems from day one, and went back in and was told updates would resolve issues (they did not) and now I am stuck with it for another 20 months before I can be rid of it.  I have no axe to grind against Samsung, my Samsung television has been an amazing reliable piece of tech and I'd buy a new one from them.  On phones though, I'd much rather go to HTC or Nokia as had good experiences with them.

They'll let me, but only to certain phones... Usually phones that would be 0 dollar contracts by the time mine ends. So for example my last contract was 3 years long, but 2 years in it asked if I wanted to upgrade ahead of time, but I had to choose from a list of phones that I knew would be outdated within a few months, or to me were already outdated. There was no option to choose to pay the extra money to get a better one, aka my current Galaxy SII which was 99$ with another 3 year contract. I had to wait out my full contract to get it.

Agree 100%.  The Note 2 is by far the best phone Ive ever owned and I have zero desire to upgrade till the Note 3

To a certain degree yes... as far as a one screen aproach can be seen different. Yeah I know that the OS is different, but overall it does way more then I am expecting from a phone, at a far lower quality than professional solutions can offer. For me that is a tech segment that does not interest me.

And than we will have to see all the photo capability comparisons, and deal with the semi-retard teen girl demographic, that sware that its better than a DSLR

I'm very excited to see what Sammysung brings to the table. I'm not looking for a new phone (Still on the Nexus S which I love) but it's good to see smartphones progress each year.

Everything seems acurate except the GPU. The GPU will be ARM Mali based.

Yes the screen is bigger though not by much. The GS3 has a 4.8 inch 720p display.

Has anybody re ass d about a possible eye scrolling display that lets you just look at the screen to control it?

Sounds like you just got an unlucky bad phone. You really need to go back and get it swapped out. Your phone has a 1 year manufacturer warranty that Sprint is obligated to fulfill. I have never had any issues with Verizon swapping out a bad phone in the past. Yes, the first time you go in they will give you the run around to try system updates or factory resets, but once you show them that didn't work, they just go get a new phone, swap out the SIM/SD cards and voila, good to go.
