Super Mario Sunshine was a great game, as well as Wind Waker. I don´t see why it´s a nightmare..

i honestly always wanted to play super mario sunshine, its the main reason i wanted a gamecube. i dont really know why people complain about the game, maybe one day ill get to play it and find out

I explained on the second page why Sunshine was a nightmare for me. As for Wind Waker, the sailing just ruined it for me, it was beyond tedious. But hey, at least you'll be able to enjoy Wind Waker HD.

The other reason it was a nightmare was the whole "no other big announcements" thing. I wanna know what Retro is doing, dammit!

Yeah, Retro really pushed the Gamecube and Wii with Metroid Primes 2 and 3. I hope their Wii U project shows the console is more powerful than previously shown, like Prime 3 did for the Wii. That was the console's first game that didn't look like it could be done on Gamecube.

Sunshine was a great game!
I'd be happy with that, in fact i think id prefer that over another 'galaxy' series entry. 2 games of that was enough, though they are 2 of the greatest games i have ever played.

Would love another Sunshine game or a remake but i doubt Nintendo will do that.

Not in the slightest, the Wii was a revolutionary console that added to the Industry. The Gamecube was just an inferior PS2 that ignored Nintendo's audience and instead tried to target Sony's audience.

Fans of Gamecube are the types of fans who would have been better off as Sony fans instead.

I think WiiU's 3D Mario is most likely going co-op thanks to the dual screen setup. If it's mario Sunshine 2 or something else - that is another question :P

As much as I love Nintendo, I'm at the point now where I've pretty much decided they don't know what they are doing. So many of their decisions over the last two years, mostly in regards to the Wii and Wii U, baffle me no end. Until they prove me wrong, I'm operating on the assumption that they've at least partially lost their minds.
