Nintendo should drop the Wii U and make a Wii U2. They should contract with the band of the same name to do their promotions. Make the console play CDs, especially U2 CDs. Also make it backwards compatible with SNES cartridges and include plugs for N64 controllers. They should load the console with a 9 core CPU and 9GB of GDDR6 RAM just to spite the PS4 specs, running at 120 FPS in 3D on 4k resolution. The new tablet controller should be, in all but name, a fully functioning iPad. Finally, release a Mario game.

Ono says, “The 3DS is such a great system which is why we want to keep those doors open. Nintendo and Capcom are best friends and sometimes friends lie to each other because that’s what friends do.”

“I mean, this is the same thing with the Vita,” he continues, “We love the PS4. We just never talk about the Vita to avoid the same situation. Unlike the Wii U, no one cares about Vita ports so it’s much easier to avoid the problem.” When asked about what the Vita’s problem is, Ono replied, “There is no problem with the Vita, it’s just currently not in our best interest.”

EA CEO John Riccitiello also talked about Wii U ports saying, “The only reason we don’t even talk about the Wii U is because I hate dealing with Nintendo fans. I would rather give out fake excuses than have to put up with them.”

Without doing research, I really have a hard time believing the bolded were actual quotes. Then again, you never know.

If they were credited to Gabe Newell about PS3 in 2008 you'd say he seems to have mellowed a bit about PS3.
