you know what the scary thing is, that pretty much all the games we know off are for the first half on the year. new consoles are releasing this year and there are going to be a lot of announcments, also nintendo seems very silent about their holiday lineup. I think this year will be the best even without two of the best (critically and sales wise) Sony franchises having a sequel, Uncharted and Gran Turismo, which says a lot about Sony's commitment to the gamers and their capacity to output quality games.

All though exclusive, We should take Dust of that list. After playing it i don't see why there are even bothing to release it. It's better off forgoten like lair.

2010 had GT5, GoW3 and heavy rain. what else did it have? because this year we are getting GoW A, and beyond two souls. you can say those two are on par with GoW3 and HR. then you got GT5 vs the last of us, puppeteer, sly cooper and ninokuni. 2013 seems better if you ask me

Those games are not out yet. What I'm saying is not to assume something without even experiencing it. In fact, why ask the question and then write off every opinion that doesn't, right now, assume that 2013 will "be the best"?

good point. but FYI i did say that 2011 is still the best year for PS3 exclusives. i actually qouted you to see why you think 2010 could be the best year over 2009 or 2011

yeah add the games from yrs prior

depending on how tlou turns out and if gt6 comes out this yr i would give it to 2013

nothing can take away the feeling from 09 if you include mutiplats and time within a gen 09 was the peak of this gen

2011 was the most overrated year imo. Socom 4 was trash. Motorstorm was a nonfactor. UC 3 failed to live up to UC 2. LBP 2 was not as fresh as LBP is asserted to have been(personally I dislike the entire series and yes, LBP came out in 2008). Ratchet and clank was the biggest letdown. Absolutely biggest dissapointment. Nowhere even close to a crack in time. Resistance 3, Killzone 3, and Infamous 2 were solid sequels though. Nowhere near as awesome as UC 2, Infamous, KZ 2, and A crack in time. Just not the same...

I would probably say 2011. That was the best year to buy a PS3.



 Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Definitely a great year for PS3 gamers.
Started with Ni No Kuni. GoW:A in March 12. Last of Us for June. 3eyond in October with Puppeteer and rain.
You also have these upcoming JRPGs and Japanese games. Tales of Xillia, Disgaea, Toki Towa, Fate paradox Neptunia, Atelier Ayesha and One Piece.
The multi-plat games. Metal Gear, Tomb Raider, Remember me, GTA V, Assassin's creed, Watch dogs, FF XIII lightning returns, Naruto
