It very well could be.
Ni No Kuni was an awesome start to the year. Let's just hope the rest live up to expectations because if so this year will be awesome

2013 looks like it's going to have sequels of all the big games from 2010.

God of War 3 --> God of War: Ascension
Heavy Rain --> BEYOND (not a sequel, but...you know)
Gran Turismo 5 --> Gran Turismo 6 (rumored of course).

Then I'd say The Last of Us beats whatever else 2010 had.
