The elder scrolls IV: Oblivion

I loved Morrowind and came to hate Oblivion. The more I've played, the more I lost hope that the game would be anything like its predecessor and the world was just so cookie cutter fantasy that it made me downright sad. I've played it close to exhaustion and came away, finally, unsatisfied.

I think you folks should stick a bit closer to the thread than just listing games you think are bad. Some of the stuff I see here is generally considered bad by the gaming community at large.

Assassins Creed series and Grand Theft Auto series.



I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

Most shooters and just every Bethesda game. I dont mind games with shooting that have other elements like Uncharted. But shooting everything that twitches and insulting people online gets boring fast.

As for Bethesda, games are 300,000 miles wide and about 3 inches deep in terms of plot and character dev.

Doom 3. After reliving my childhood games doom and doom 2 I ought I'd finally play doom 3 after all these years. I wish that I hadn't.

i thought fallout 3 had a deep plot and characters? i didnt play it but thats what i understood

Gears of War and God of War.

Played both at other's houses and I seriously could not see why they would have bought it for anything other than CHAINSAW MACHINE GUN ERMAGAWD or UBER BUFF SPARTAN GUY DECAPITATION.

That and Final Fantasy, Mario Kart, Skyrim, GTA, Call of Duty. Oh and all the Mario Parties after 2. (4 was decent though)

Dragon Age. I've never understood the appeal of this game. It's pretentious and shallow. Choice is an illusion in video game, let's not pretend otherwise.
