I've heard some small rumor that Secret Ponchos will come to PS4, that's all.

If you compare the US pre-orders for inFAMOUS: Second Son to inFAMOUS 2, you can see that those for Second Son are more than double those for inFAMOUS 2, a 106% increase!

The bolded part... The price point is completely why the vita hasn't taken off and even at its lower cost of entry now its too little to late... For the VR thing to really succeed it either needs to be a stand alone gaming device at $250 tops or a companion device to the ps4 at no more than $150... at $200 it might succeed as a periphial but if the price point is too high it wont get mass market saturation.

Unless it's marketed as a replacement to your TV, in which case you can say yeah, spend 600+ on a TV to go with the 400 you spent on the console and the 60 on the Eye.  Or...keep the TV you have, and buy this, it could be done.

Remember it's not just for gaming, Sony are making partnerships already with NASA and others for stuff like virtual tourism and other interactive media.  Even if it doesn't have massive sales on the gaming side of things (which would be a shame) doesn't mean it won't be a success and make Sony a decent wedge.  Hopefully that will be the case, Sony can hardly afford to put god knows how many billions into R&D for a flop.
