Forums - Nintendo - Wii mini coming to Europe! Wii getting a new wind?

I think it's not hackable is it ? If not most of Europe won't care.

If they price it £50-£60 it could do well.

I think they need to go even lower, you can buy a Wii right now at CEX for £40, so to really move more hardware, I'd say £40 for the WiiU if they want to sell gangbusters.

The Wii Remote Motion + and the Nunchuck that come with the console cost £40 by themselves so I don't think it's possible. Amazon is selling the Wii Mini for £80 so technically the console by itself is £40. XP

Does the Wii even need a boost? Nintendo should focus on the Wii U instead.

It's like the previous comments mentioned. The wii failed miserably in the last 3 years on the market, the company lost nearly 50% of their net worth in that time and posted their first ever loss in company history lol.

Wii failed, that would be the end of that story. Whether they manage to sell 100 million consoles is hilariously irrelevant at this point. It's a gaming first when the company that sells 100 million consoles actually loses the generation.

There is no arguing, it failed. You're just not bright if you're actually trying to convince yourself of anything else.

I love how people think that the existence of a Wii, Wii Mini and a WiiU will confuse people.

You really wish that was true, lol Nice bait.

I watched a few reviews of the Wii mini, its just a reeeaaally cheap spin off with no features, not sure what Nintendo's goals are with this system. I was thinking of picking one up for some Zelda but the lack of outputing progressive video was a deal breaker.

Well people were confused over DS - 3DS transition. Nintendo knew this, thats why we got the "This isnt DS, this is 3DS" adverts.

Very possible that it could happen again.

It IS true. Go ahead an attempt to disprove me lol. Let's see how far you can get other than "you wish."

Lost networth, lost developer support, fell out of the public eye, next gen console sales have bottomed out within 1 month of launch.... YOUR TURN! 1,2,3, GO...
