Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo: Everything that has a beggining has an end...

I wouldn't worry too much. Even if someday Nintendo were unable to make consoles (not anytime soon), they could still continue to make their software no problems. I mean their IPs are ridiculously popular. They aren't dying anytime soon.

Anything is possible but I suspect Nintendo isn't going anywhere any time soon. America may have many of the most profitable companies in the world but guess who has many of the oldest companies?

You mean this right?

Blew my mind when I read that.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

They will live forever in their games.

Pfff... another Nintendo doom thread? C´mon .... even if Nintendo stop to producing consoles someday they still would survive either making games for other consoles (if they still exist), or smartphones/tablets or PCs. Just be assured that if that day comes, it will be the day when console gaming will definetely cease to exist

Yeah :) I can't even remember how i came across this.

Nintendo has been around for 120 years. They aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Of course, eventually Nintendo will have to stop the console production and things will come to an end then. But by that point, videogames will have become so oversaturated; so same-y and so uninteresting that the very market itself would have to collapse before they leave.

As others have said, Nintendo have confirmed that they have no interest in a 3rd party lifestyle, so don't expect there games to be on anything other than their systems. The real sadness will come when Miyamoto retires; because that will be the end of "classic" Nintendo, as it were.

But we'll always have their 30 or so years of games, many of which rival today's blockbusters, anyway.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

hhmmm... Wurst

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Nintendo is d00med! - now i truly believe that none of us members of this site will live enough to see the end of nintendo.
