Forums - Sony - So... I liked the PS4 capabilities and features but I'm not interested in any of the games they showed

Seriously, the PS4 is awesome and it really met my expectations... I'll love being able to record myself playing games and taking screenshots, it's something I've always wanted to do but I never bought a capture card and went through all the mess to be able to record through HDMI. And the graphics were pretty good for launch titles that aren't even finished...

However, the only game I'm KIND OF interested in is Deep Down... and that's it... we barely saw any gameplay if what they showed was even real so I don't even know if I'll like it when it's finished.

I really hope they show some games I like during this year and that they're released close to launch... or at launch if possible... I'd really like to buy a system at launch for the first time in my life but I won't if there are no games I like :S

Am I the only one who's in this situation?

Release Final Fantasy Versus XIII nowwwwwwwwww!!! lol :P

Around the Network

I just want a true Jak IV. That's all I want from SCE and Naughty Dog.

I do have to say though, that Infamous, Killzone, and especially Knack all look pretty cool.  Not sure if I'd spend $60 on any of them, but I guess that's what E3 is for.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

Well I loved Killzone 2 and 3... so I'm interested in Killzone Shadows Fall

hopefully the the Japanese devs will feel a lot more at home on PS4

I want those JRPGs!!

Knack looked pretty neat to me. Watchdogs too, but that's multiplat.

from your sig and from knowing that the only game you liked is deep down im assuming you like japanese games, i would point out that the event was held in new york, so it did focus on the western market. i would wait a while longer until they make an event or announce more japanese styled games

I really like the look of both inFamous and Killzone.

But if those aren't your thing, you've seen the enormous variety of titles published on PS3. There's no reason to think that the PS4 will be any different.

Definitely: Killzone

Probably: DriveClub, Knack

Maybe (More Information Needed): Destiny, Watch Dogs, Deep Down, Second Son

Not bad, really, and I'm sure some in the Maybe category will move up to Probably or even Definitely. Deep Down and Destiny are both very interesting to me but I need to know more.

Of course, I do expect a lot more "launch window" games to be announced at E3, both first- and third-party.

I feel the same, the games didn't do much for me. I loved the Killzone trailer just because it's an FPS that's one step closer to photo-realism, Driveclub seemed interesting and something I could get into with friends (we used to have huge GT5 parties), I wasn't very interested in anything else though. The presentations for each game were a little barebones, not enough gameplay was shown.

That's why I'm looking forwards to E3, especially the Final Fantasy game that Square Enix said they'd show.
