I'm actually disappointed with the way they're handling BC compatibility. Not necessarily because it's not there, but because they're half assing with with Gaikai. I can't even transfer my saves over apparently.

I'm in a wait-and-see mode for Destiny, and especially Watch Dogs. They have potential to be amazing pieces of software, but there just hasn't been enough raw gameplay shown for me make a decision about jumping onboard the bandwagon. |
I feel the exact same way. I look at both of them and I think either one could be fantastic or boring. Destiny has the potential to be revolutionary, or it might just be an always-online FPS with a gimped single player experience. Likewise, Watch Dogs has some awesome ideas but it might turn out to be yet another open world game where you spend more time looking for things to do than actually doing anything. I just haven't seen enough of either one to make a decision.
Of course, that's true with most new IPs. I'm really looking forward to the gaming conference season starting up.

Don't worry, there will be more games. I'm sure Sony has prepped a 20+ game launch like they did for the Vita. Difference is they will have bigger names and better developers behind most of those titles. Fingers crossed for Uncharted 4, the Last Guardian, & Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Oh and Fallout 4 as a wild card.
Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

I know how you feel. I'm not a fan of inFamous, don't play shooters (Killzone, Destiny).
But knowing what is to come has me excited enough to want a PS4 near launch.
If anything, the Diablo III trophy list should be a worthy challenge.

Well... I guess you're right, I'll just have to wait :P

I already have one, I just have an i5 760 @ 2.88GHz, an HD 6850 and 4 GB DDR3 @ 1333MHz but it's good enough I guess.

Or you know you could always wait a bit....before buying a system ;o |
That's what I've always done, I don't remember when my parents bought me a PS1 but the PS2 was around 2005 and I bought the PS3 around the end of 2009... I just wanted to get the PS4 at launch because I really liked it and because I wanted to buy a system at launch for the first time in my life :P But if no games I like are released at launch then I'll have no choice but to wait until there are at least 4 or 5 games I'm interested in to buy it :S
I hope the new Final Fantasy from Square Enix looks interesting and is released close to launch... but I highly doubt it... they haven't even released Versus XIII yet xD
Maybe if ground zeroes is a cross gen title I could buy it just for that one... and record&upload some gameplay! :D
Well wait until E3/GC/TGS for a better understanding of the line up. As Yoshida said this was just day '1'.
ps: I already have 3-4 must have games for the system. Killzone SF, Second Son, Watch Dogs are definite buys. I need to see a bit more of Knack but I think I will be onboard with it too. I really need to see more of Drive Club tho.
