Forums - Sony - So... I liked the PS4 capabilities and features but I'm not interested in any of the games they showed

We still have GDC, E3, GDCE, PAX, and TGS. I am sure we will see plenty of games, for all three Gen 8 consoles. MS, Sony, Nintendo, Valve, and OUYA will all have lots to show leading up to the holidays to try and build momentum behind their brands. The same goes for 3rd party publishers.

This gen we should not see games delayed like we did this gen now that all platforms are easy to develop for.

Killzone looked great but played like Killzone 2 or 3, which I can play right now if I want. Knacked or whatever, meh.

Watch Dogs looked amazing though. But I agree, I am much more excited about the potential features of the console.

Well, if that's what you think, you should buy a PC.

Great variety of games. Knack, The Witness, Drive Club, Killzone, all interested in them.

Really interested in Knack, made by industry veteran Mark Cerny.

Yeah, the conference need more Japanese. I know it's a NY conference. Oh well.

@OP

Just give it time. E3 is the more games centric event and should have a lot more games shown. If you are more into Japanese style games then you may have to wait for TGS.

Definitely: Killzone

Probably: DriveClub, Knack

Maybe (More Information Needed): Destiny, Watch Dogs, Deep Down, Second Son

Not bad, really, and I'm sure some in the Maybe category will move up to Probably or even Definitely. Deep Down and Destiny are both very interesting to me but I need to know more.

Of course, I do expect a lot more "launch window" games to be announced at E3, both first- and third-party.

I'm in a wait-and-see mode for Destiny, and especially Watch Dogs.  They have potential to be amazing pieces of software, but there just hasn't been enough raw gameplay shown for me make a decision about jumping onboard the bandwagon.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

It needs to have a good showing at TGS, or Japan really could become Nintendoland.

The conference was for the PS4, not really PS4 games. In the coming 8 months we'll see gameplay and new games.

I'll be getting Killzone at launch most likely. It's just a good way to show off the system and the online will keep me entertained and let me try out all the video sharing features and spectating. Watch Dogs will be a PS4 game for me because it just seems like it's a game that'll be a lot better on next gen hardware. Destiny isn't coming till 2014 I think so hopefully ND has something at E3 (they will but I'm hoping it's for launch). Might get D3 but that's really iffy at this point.
