Forums - Nintendo - I don't understand how anyone trust Nintendo after this gen :/

mean after this generation I just can't fathom why anyone would trust this company.  I mean let's look at things they did wrong this generation while ignoring all the right things that they did.

1. When Nintendo decided to release the Wii they hyped it up like the Wii controller was the answer to all of our prayers. In the end it was an inprecise gimmick.

2.  Bad graphics. Wanting to make money off your console is alright, but the Wii literally was just two overclocked Gamecubes taped together. What the hell, Nintendo?

3.  Online gaming. Friend codes? No cheat protection? Bad netcode in your 1st-party games? Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked.

4.  No core third-party support. The first party games were really nice, but what were we supposed to play in between them?

5. Expensive controller. $40 for the Wiimote, $20 for the Nunchuck, $20 for the Motion+ addon. $80 per controller makes $260 for an average family. Yeah, sure...

6. No Gameboy/Color backwards compatibility with the NDS.  The NDS had GBA BC and the GBA had GB BC, so why was this not included in the NDS?

7. No media covered. MP3 and jpeg support in the Photo Channel, u serious Nintendo?.....

8.  Wii Motion+.  Sure, make us pay ANOTHER $20 to make the Wiimote what it was supposed to be from day-1 on. And then make sure only 3 or so games actually support it...

9. Disk drive. Why did the disc drive have such big problems with dual-layer disks? And why did it take you so long to release a cleaning tool so I wouldn't have to send the Wii back to you just to clean the lense?

10.  Built in HDD. Would have given us so many great possibilities. But you had to be like NOPE -_-

Now if you actually read this, I hope you guys realize that i was being sarcastic. yes these are problems Nintendo had and Yes Nintendo has had problems just like MSFT and Sony had but all companies has also done many right things as well so don't ignore that either.  (Stolen straight from JayWood :P)

1. Inprecise gimmick my ass. You're just raging that Sony didn't beat Nintendo to the punch. 95 million consoles sold can't be wrong.

2. You can have that one. But, Super Mario Galaxy was fucking beautiful.

3. People weren't really hacking Mario Kart. The only game that was worth playing online.

4. Define core third party support. You mean the shit I bought because Wii fans told me too? Shit like:

The Conduit
MadWorld
CoD ports
Boom Blox
Deadly Creatures
Red Steel

Please keep in mind, Wii did have the wonderful "The Last Story" which is far better than that Kingdom Hearts 3 you still haven't gotten OP.
Also, Xenoblade Chronicles, No More Heroes/2: Desperate Struggle, and Rock Band 2.

5. Wii Motion Plus was included in all Wii-motes after 2009. 260 dollars is nothing. A PS3 controller is 55 bucks. And all it is is a wireless DualShock 2.
Which were 30. You really think Nintendo was price-gouging?

6. Nintendo DS was deliberately not BC with Game Boy because Nintendo didn't want to confuse idiot consumers into thinking it was a Game Boy.

7. We eventually got Netflix. And really, OP what did you type this bastardization of a thread on? Your PS3? A Wii is a fucking videogame system.
Not a PC. And when was the last time you watched a DVD? Streaming is the future.

8. See point 6.

9. Clean it yourself lazy bones. Or don't buy the two games that were dual-layer: SSBB and Metroid Prime Trilogy. Problem solved.

10. Obviously, you are a pitiful console peasant. HDDs were expensive as fuck back then. The PS3 shipped with a 20GB HDD and it was 500 bucks. Same with the 360 @ 400.

Me: 8 You: 2

I win.

Around the Network

We still trust Nintendo cause they never got hacked like PSN.
We still trust Nintendo cause they never forced us to pay for internet on our console like XBL.
We still trust Nintendo cause they actually innovate gaming instead of copy from others like Sony and MS.

...Dude, "some of my posts". As in, go look at my post history(my thread history, my games collection...) and then see if you still would imply me to be a Nintendo hater again. I'd post a pic of my Nintendo collection, but currently my smart phone is out of juice. Give me 20 minutes and I'll deliver.

I'll never trust Nintendo. They still own me the RPG coin collection that i deservedly won in the official site.

When I close my eyes and fall backwards my balance board is always there to catch me, so I trust Nintendo.

Sadly not, my parents never wanted to buy me one when I was younger. The Gamecube was my first console (before I always had to visit friends or play on my PC), it was my christmas present 2006^^

And yeah, everything still works like a charm^^

This thread should say how can you trust Home Consoles after this past Generation.

When it comes to Nintendo we have the DS.

And now the 3DS.

The Wii U has "Single-player asymetrical gaming" but I will just post a few video links to show you:
