Well, yes, but...no... I'm saying that, uh, were it not for EA Sports making use of the Wii, the motion gaming revolutions made in the golfing genre may never have happened...

I think revolution is not the right word for it. Also is a bit too dramatic, but we'll see.

As for the ps4 the social aspects look interesting but not game changing, except for the letting someone else play your game part the hell I'll let someone else play my game for me, why not just have more co-op. And I don't think they quite showed us the use of the touch screen on the controller as yet or maybe I missed it or maybe its a knee jerk reaction to the wiiU controller.

Ps4 has not showed anything but a new coat of paint on the games we play. Personally, i am wanting for that one extraordinary wii u game to come out.



Bet with ninjablade:

Ninjablade wins if the next 5 multiplat on the wii u are inferior to the 360 version.

I win if one of the 5 mulitplats are on par or superior on the Wii U.

In a way, i suppose these social features are a revolution in themself. I remember wishing I could record my NES games. I know an amazing game will come to Ps4 and turn these social features into a tremendous advantage.

In what ways could we have new revolutionary gameplay?  That's an honest question too. What do you want to see in changes to gameplay?   The way I see it animations, physics, etc. have gotten better every generation, but games always play mostly the same and will continue to play the same.  Maybe I just can't visualize how gameplay could change that much.

That's my point; I can't see a way we could revolutionise gameplay. Arguably the Wii did it, and obviously 3D and anologue sticks before that, but now? I don't know, and I don't see how the PS4 could change that.

Could be wrong, though, but it's too early to tell from here.
