It's in-engine, hence the jaggies.
It's not gameplay, the actions are likely scripted, but it's definitely not cgi.

Individuals for whom it is a job, average Joes, rather than glorified adventurers that people are used to. Yes, dungeon raiding is dirty business. But I have a feeling, based on the trailer, that a good portion of the game takes place in a regular world, with hackers and whatnot. It could actually be a cyberpunk type game, where hacking systems has an interface of dungeon exploring.
Ack, I think I just got myself sold on the game by imagining here
its in-engine, but the animations make it look like a cutscene, its not CGI.
but in the end its Capcom so I don't really give a damn, they're not going to outdo Dark Souls.

What if it is actually a hacking game, with other things, and not just a dungeon crawl? They don't out do the Souls franchise, they do something different.

What, man? Dragon's Dogma is made by Capcom and it's amaaaaaaaazing. GOTY 2012 hands down.

"honjitsu wa | Playstation 4 no ue de | jissai | ugoiteru | eizou | o minna-san | o otodoke | shitai" is what he says
word by word it's: "today| on PS4 | real/actual/real-time | running | footage | you/all of you | deliver | want" or how I would put it "today we want to deliver you footage that is running on PS4 in real time"
especially the phrase "jissai ugoiteru eizou" is what I know as "footage running in real-time" (from famitsu articles or game trailers) as opposed to "footage running on a real/actual xxx" which probably is another interpretation you could get from these words
but the footage obviously isn't "ingame", it's very likely all scripted
It's working title...so personally feel like it's more of a target render.

Did u use Google translate?
I won't hold my breath yet but I guess there's a small glimmer of hope that it's in real-time (even if on a powerful PC I would be super happy). I do hope!

no, I use my knowledge and this site http://jisho.org/
I can read japanese decently (enough to read famitsu and play games like FF13, Ni no Kuni or White Knight Chronicles), but I do understand spoken japanese much better.

Cool!! Seems I asked the right person for a translation then.
