Awesome I should get Crysis 1 and 2 since my gfx card is better than the ones suggested in the OP.

Avoid. They are very mediocre, if you ask me. Although the first one is only remotely "good".

Also, I have a 550Ti and can do High settings @ 1080p with 35fps average for Crysis 1. Demanding game is demanding.

Awws even at $5 xD?

I got it for 5 and I can't bring myself to continue it!

The point is really this - modern games are scalable, so a multiplat game may run on Ultra High at a crazy resolution on a PC, High @1080P on PS4/Nextbox, and Medium @720P on the U.

That's is somewhat true. However the direction of the game is also important because not every game can be "scaled" down. The Witcher 3 is a good example.

Seeing the types of games that were scaled back to the PS3/360, I think most games could be scaled while still looking good to the average consumer. There may be some exceptions, but almost all modern games & game engines are very scalable.

Wake up people, the Wii U - PS4 gap will not be like the Wii - PS3 one.

In the graphics department as per detail, I would bet my left nut it will not be as drastic of a comparison as PS3 vs Wii but due to the DDR5 Ram in the PS4, the scalability   of games if optimized appropriately will be quite noticeably different when it comes to exclusive titles.

n The gpu is still not known if its 160 sp or 320 sp, I emailed Richard from digitail foundry and he thinks its very possible it could be 160 sp even after seeing need for speed Wii u, I have the email if anybody wants to see it

no one cares?

Why the heck would nobody care?  There was recently a poll on the site that showed there was still as much interest on this site in the wiiu as the ps4.

Looks good and its not optimized to the hardware like consoles. So it would actually be more capable by default.

THat's what I've been preaching. THey all share similar architectures (GPU heavy) and have the same capabilities in terms of technologies.

Biggest hurdle at this point will be WiiUs 1GB RAM for games as compared to 5GBs to 7GBs of RAM the PS4 and neXtBox will have for games. Hopefully that scales nicely as well.

Stop derailing the thread...

@topic: Would be really nice if it could, this footage looks much better than the PS3/Xbox360 versions. Without the game actually being on the WiiU the speculations are pointless, though.^^

Looks nice, but in the wake of PS4 and nextbox it's not that impressive.

My laptop can do this and its an i5. Not impressed. Show me Super Mario, Starfox or Zelda in HD and i'll be impressed. Nintendo is always behind but at least we get to see their characters in a new light.
