Ouch. Now that I see the numbers, and those seem like the most logical ones for pricing, it does seem a bit expensive.

It's gonna be a classic dilemma, all of us hardcore gamers will want to have the complete version and not the gimped one but $500 just feels a little too much for a console.

Unless they sell a version without some of the stuff they were featuring, $500 minimum. In terms of power, this is at least as big a jump as the PS2 to PS3 jump was. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if a $1000 bundle with the Vita, some accessories, and a game or two came out at launch.

I'm guessing $400 at the very least. More likely $450 or $500. Which seems awfully high to me. Are people going to pay that much? PS3 and Xbox 360 offer so much value for a fraction of that cost.
