They will both claw their way up to it though. And being that the ps360 were fighting over the same consumer when we are talking about purchasing power of demographics those need to be included together. Think about it. If the pswii released very similarly and ps3 was underpowered with motion gaming then 360 would have all of the 150mil market to themselves while pswii would fight over the 100mil.
Anyway, point is the most innovation between the two is cross game chat and online play. Those two things were praised for increasing gameplay... yet supposidly the social features announced for the ps4 are "same ol' same ol'" yet, the ps360, comparatively, were in the exact same situation concerning gameplay and has shown that's what the market wants by grabing 60% of it and will most likely end up with close to 70%. Another piece of evidence that supports this claim is the markets response to the wii u.
