Forums - Sony - The ACTUAL Controller

Looks very sleek and futuristic. That share button really intrigues me. They shared the gameplay video of Killzone Shadow Fall using the share button and they posted it on their Facebook page.

Bethesda VP of marketing said the touch pad "feels really good".

It looks much better than expected, although the D-pad isn't quite Vita style. Will have to see how it feels along with the new triggers and analog sticks.

i wish they had copied the wii U controller

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Missed like 10 minutes cause I was eating, but can anyone tell me if they ever showed or talked about what this touch pad is for or whats unique or new about it?

If not, that is one thing that is most dissapointing to me in this conference. Why show a bunch of games that play the same as last gen and not even once talk about what is new on your controller.

What can I do with this dualshock that makes it better than the prior dualshock. Why am I spending extra money for the touch pad?

WOW looks really good up close!!

Intel Core i7 3770K [3.5GHz]|MSI Big Bang Z77 Mpower|Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1866 2 x 4GB|MSI GeForce GTX 560 ti Twin Frozr 2|OCZ Vertex 4 128GB|Corsair HX750|Cooler Master CM 690II Advanced|

I do hope it will be slightly more refined as we move forward.
I don't like how the nubs look and I'm hoping the controller is slightly narrower in the middle section.

N they didn't say anything about it but bethsda, blizzard and epic were excited for it

The triggers look like the 360's which is great. The sticks are concave which is slightly better.
As a fan of black it looks fuckable.
The only question that is not answerable yet is if it is fatter than the dualshick in the grips. Not a killer of the dual shock, but desirable to my large hands.
Overall, satisfied.

Just like developers were excited for the 3D in 3DS or excited for the stuff in Vita, or the gamepad for Wii U, ect.

I don't take developers word for anything these days.  Their word means nothing to me.  I will wait to see how they impliment it or use it first.

That is why I'm dissapointed and thinking this is a pointless expense.  Not one game shown today was shown using the new feature on the controller.  So why is it there?

At least when they showed off six-axis they showed like Lair or some other games using it. This controller nothing.  And compare it to the Wii U unveil when like 90% of conference was discussing the new things the controller could do.  Is it too much to ask for sony to spend 5% of the time showing off the new feature?
