After getting burned by both XBOX, X360, Gamecube, and Wii from the prev generations i'm going to be hard pressed to buy the WiiU and the X720. I've been an idort for my entire life (though I did eventually sell of all my sega consoles except the dreamcast) but I think I'm done. I've been too disappointed, nothing short a slew of stellar orgasmic games coming from WiiU or X720 would make me consider buying them and I just don't think they will deliver.

What do you mean burned? You got 8 years worth of great Xbox 360 games and 5 years of many fantastic original Xbox games. Gamecube and Wii had many great games as well.

XBOX made an absolutely poor showing and a too short life span. X360 in general only has halo and a smattering of exclusive RPGs that are any good whatsoever. The Wii has next to no RPGs with traditional controls. I tried the wiimote thing for a couple years and couldn't even finish either Zelda games because it was so lame.

That's your opinion. I'm not really a big RPG fan anyways, but I thought the Fable series was great. Microsoft just got its foot in the door with Xbox and once it established a fanbase they went all out and put all their resources behind the 360. Xbox 360 is like wine, the games keep getting better with time. You can't say you haven't got your moneys worth out of it because we're getting some of the best games near the end of its life cycle.

Don't put your money on Fable's future. Without Molyneux and the team falling apart I wouldn't put much stock in its survival for next gen.

My primary console, the one I will play the most, probably hasn't arrived yet. I have a Wii U, Vita, and 3DS, but I imagine one of the upcoming systems from Sony and Microsoft will be my primary console, only because it will have a big supply of third-party titles.

So I'm 100% confident I will purchase both PS4 and Xbox 720, and play one of them the most. However, if either Sony or Microsoft implement some of the measures that have been rumored -- specifically tech that blocks used games -- that percentage drops to 0%.

Main Consoles next-gen will be the Wii U and PS4. The reason is, I have owned both companies consoles since the start (Nes to Wii U) and (PS1 to PS3) so i will continue to support them.

As for HH i have a 3ds, Might get a PSvita mid 2014 depending on the games they release by then.

I dont care about Fable, if MS makes a Lost Odysee 2 they will have my money first nextgen

Microsoft doesn't make Lost Odyssey, Sakaguchi san does and he is open season for any brand. Sony is the only one he hasn't made a game for and the chances of profit are higher on a Sony console. If he was smart he'd go multiplat so all consoles could get a game.

I really haven't decided which console will be my primary one. I really want to have only one next gen gaming console but I feel that won't be the case.

I of course will be going with the ps4. Considering i have only ever bought sony consoles and considering how happy I have been with them this gen its really a no-brainer.

<a href="https://psnprofiles.com/fauzman"><img src="https://card.psnprofiles.com/2/fauzman.png" border="0"></a>

PS4, hot shots golf, GT and disgaea.

MS is going the casual route now, and I don't like it. 360 first years were awesome, and now I haven't turned it on in a long time.

I like zelda and 3d mario, but not enough to buy a console just for it (I didn't like xenoblade, so I couldn't care less about X).

Yeah, looking at these results makes me think it might be time for me to move on from here. I voted Don't Know Yet and expected that to be far higher than it is. We know virtually nothing concrete about next gen and people have already cast their votes. This is as futile as most political elections here in the US.

And yes, I know many of you will justify with terms like 'brand loyalty', but just be honest and call it what it is.

Disappointing.

Well, Now days, you can't really own a Nintendo console as your primary console. So it will be the PS4. Now, the Wii U will get the games I want to play most, but it's releases will be few and far between.

Wii U will be my console of choice, but PS4 will be my primary console.

Well MS still owns the IP to Lost Odyssey and im sure Sakaguchi would be more then happy to revisit that world since it sold like a million copys for a brand new IP and an old school style JRPG thats pretty good imo, has any of the Tales of games reached LO numbers on the PS3? or any other JRPG other then FF13? im really just wondering here as i dont see the sales of the game being bad at all?.

To the best of my knowledge it didn't sell a million. That said, the PS3/360 crowd are rather similar and on most mid tier JRPG's they would sell similar but the PS3 would edge out the 360 by a much larger margin in popular RPG's. If Sony sold more consoles in Japan they sales for JRPG's would be wayyyyyy higher. They didnt sell as many consoles as they should've in Japan.
