I think this next gen is between Sony and MS, and MS currently seem to be focussing partly on the casual market with Kinect... so i agree its Sony's to lose (but then I really dont know what the USA market will end up doing).

I was worried about Sony only just starting dev on their next gen games, i.e they have three major games out this year for Ps3... but finding out they have two teams at most of their big companies - so less worrying.

Nintendo are going to struggle this year, like I have said before. I cannot believe they were not prepared for their own console...and some of their major games arn't due till 2014 or 2015... just crazy. If you just look at most gaming sites, none of them are talking about the wii-u at the moment, they are all talking about "Next-gen" and that "is it coming soon"... so most of the press dont even consider the wii-u next gen. So even though its just launched, most of the press is negative.

This week will be sony, probably in the next month or so it will be MS, and then everyone is focussing on that at E3. I also expect price cuts to the PS3 and perhaps Xbox to again attack those that might even consider a Wii-u if they dont already have a current gen console... All i do know is that it's exciting times.

As a gamer I'm gonna choose PlayStation 4 because it'll have games.

I'm definitely going with the PS4. I just know Sony always delivers in terms of HW and SW, so I know I'll be satisfied with the PS4. Xbox does have some good exclusives, but not so good I feel like I NEED to play them. And I'm not really feeling the Wii U. I'm sure they will deliver for their fans, but since there is no real jump in power over last gen, I fail to see the point in purchasing it myself.

For handhelds, I already have a 3DS XL, though I haven't got too many games for it. Mostly DL games. I plan on getting a Vita later this year, possibly on Black Friday because of all the killer deals. May get the new model of the Vita, if Sony reveals a new one on the 20th. All I know is I have a lot of Vita games via PS+ and I can't wait to play them all.

That would be great if it did.  Sony back in first, while Nintendo and MS battle it out for 2nd.  I think Nintendo has already sealed their fate of a 2nd or 3rd finish.  Now, all we have to do is see who they are going to be duking it out with.  With Sony having an advantage in Japan and EU when compared to MS, I think it will be MS.

No, it's just this site. For that reason I hope sony fails just as bad as this gen. Sorry but I can't stand sony.

What I mean by fail is their finacial mess. They screwed me in the past many times. I never been treated better than with how MS handled the RED RING. You just tell them you want a new console and it was yours. Sony ps2. they had a issue, never did anything but tell me to buy another console. Also i know many, many people  that switched to XBOX and hope it continues.

I'm getting them all I never stick to just one console

For me, I'll be buying a Wii U. I just like Nintendo and the games on their systems.
