For male actors I would say my favorite is Hugh Laurie for making House one of the best TV shows ever made (I wish we saw him in more films and TV shows).

For female actresses, Jennifer Lawrence instantly comes to mind. She's the best actress I've ever seen (both literally and figuratively ).

Favorite actors are Don Cheadle, Sylvester Stallone, and Al Pacino. Favorite actresses are Brandy Talore, Carmella Bing, and Amy Donovan.

I've only seen him in Inglourious Basterds, but Cristoph Waltz was amazing.

That scene cracks me up every time.

As for my favorite actor, I'd have to say Brian Cranston. He's incredible.

As far as men goes, Jack Nicholson, definitely. Leonardo Di Caprio, Tom Hanks, Jim Carrey and Mel Gibson would probably round up my top 5.

When it comes to women though I've never had a clear favorite... Julia Roberts, Julianne Moore, Kate Winslet, Uma Thurman and Rachel Weisz come to mind.
