I'd also add Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. Actresses i'd say Ellen Paige.

I like Ellen Page but she hasnt been in much other than Inception and Juno.  I think she is a rising star though :)

Daniel Day Lewis is probably one of the greatest actors of all time. But one of my all time favorite actors is Matt Damon.

He who hesitates is lost

Erika Toda.  Not even kidding.  She impresses the hell out of me the way she goes for these crazy roles a lot of actresses would avoid.  Innocent and naive in one role then next she's playing an anti-social deviant with no make-up and tangled hair.  She was sensational in Keizoku 2: SPEC.

On the male side, Bill Murray is brilliant and vastly underrated.  He had me believing every bit of his character in Lost in Translation.

Marion Cotillard as Edith Piaf in La Vie En Rose.

She wasn't acting as Edith Piaf. She became Edith Piaf. I suspect she is a practitioner of the Chekov method =P

Geoffrey Rush as David Helfgott in Shine

John Noble as Walter Bishop in Fringe

Honourable Mention -> Adrian Brody as Wladyslaw Szpilman

These people aren't just my favourite actors and actresses. They are my heroes.

You are the answer to every prayer I've offered.

You are a song, a dream, a whisper, and I don't know how I could have lived without you for as long as I have.

Ahh you keep mentioning Chekov lol  I ordered a Chekov book earlier today.  I'm extremely curious about this method now lol

You need to order 2 books.

To The Actor + On The Technique Of Acting. That's all you need.
I'll respond to your wall post and demonstrate an exercise with you. It's just a tip of the iceberg on his acting method.

I'll try to find the 5 hour chekov instruction video and send it to you too.

And ok XD  Thank you by the way

I really like Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. And, no, not just because of The Devil Wears Prada...

Yeah Tom Hanks as well, even though I have not seen him in anything as of late.

I would suggest watching "Cloud Atlas" to see his acting prowess and range.  Some may seem a bit silly, but he shines to me in the far future thread on the island.
