No, I agree with you. But even if you don't buy a game, it's nice every now and then to hear some positive feedback about the game and system from people, even if as customers it doesn't make them buy it. RE:R is the kind of  game which alone makes a platform enviable. To dismiss the 3DS altogether is to dismiss the alluring nature of this game, imho.

Nobody was dismissing the 3DS, and the game did get very positive feedback from everyone who did play it, hell im not even a fan of the series and i could recognize it was a damn well made game, but as ive already stated that dont really mean jack when the RE fanbase for the most part dont own a 3ds or is not willing to spend the money on a system to get the game. Which is probably why its being ported in the first place. They werent dismissing the 3ds they just dont care.

I understand why it's being ported, you don't need to lecture me on that. Obviously they're going after untouched markets (those that don't own or want a 3DS).

But when people say the 3DS is lame or uninteresting when it has some gems like RE:R, it makes you question the neutrality of people. It's not about not caring if opinions are made on a platform, right?

Ok so what difference does it make being able to play it on your PSV or Ps3?, if its about portablity pick up the 3DS version .

What i got from you reasons not to buy the game was "I wont buy it on my PS3 cos the is no vita port," And thats why i said if you wanted to play it on a portable buy a 3Ds as its the only way your going to be able to . Plus why need lots of Zelda when you get plenty of other great games .

KH3D, fire emblem, Mario 3D land, Zelda OOt Remake, Kid Icrus, Mario Kart 7, Resident Evil R etc etc, All them games added together is enough to make anyone want to buy a new system imo. Not to mention all the great games thats coming to the 3DS .

yeh but unlike the Vita it doesnt have the games that appeal to me. im not interested in Mario and i wouldnt use RE as a reason to buy a 3DS. im not despirate to play it at all haha thats why i said Zelda as i love Zelda. if i buy a 3DS it will be when it has 2 or 3 Zelda games on it :D

like i said i have a huge backlog of PS3 games that will take me right up to and maybe past PS4 release so im not going to add to that with games i dont care much about. i would rather have it on Vita where there are only 3 or 4 games releasing this year that im interested in. 

Well its not coming to the Vita, But i still dont see how you can make time to play such a game on your vita but not your PS3, imo if this game was released exclusively on the PS3 in the first place you would of been all over it . Before you say id play it on breaks or that imo this game is not a game you split into breaks like that as this game is a console experince type game imo.

Also the 3DS has many more games then just mario games, but judging your name i dont think you would of looked much into that . Also imo Zelda is an excuse for you as pretty much no nintendo system has had 3 or more zelda games on, at most they get like 2 zelda games .

Anyway clearly your reason for not picking up this game is your pissed its not getting a vita port but what do you expect?

Bah it doesnt even matter as the obnly way your going to be able to play this game on a portable is on the 3DS, if this game plus all the other great 3Ds games is not enough to make you want one then nothing can be done for you .

im not arguing or being a bitch? you are lol im a PS fan but as many others on here know im a nintendo fan too. i dont like mario but i love Zelda... i also love Brawl. i will get a 3DS as many times on this site i have stated that (il put it next to my Gameboy,DS & GC) (i dont have a Wii anymore) i also want a WiiU but wont buy as im saving for the PS4 first. 

i want to play this game on a portable and not add to my PS3 backlog, why is that such a problem for you? i dotn have alot of Vita games to play at the minute so i wouls rather play on there. plus i have still to get RE6. jesus it is my choice and i dont get why you need to assume things because i would rather play a portable game on a portable? at the end of the say i will probably get it bargin bin on the 3DS but that still doesnt change my point? 

can you just accept that now.

dude in the vid says they touched up the CINEMATIC parts of the 3DS version, so it should be even better than expected on consoles. Still looks damn good on 3DS though.

The one thing I'm a bit worried about it, is that I love the combat in Res 4, a Res 5, with the location based damage and then melee.

That doesn't seem to be the case in this case.
