I prefer playing horror games on handhelds. I wish this was getting a Vita port.

Taking 3DS to darkest corner of my basement and playing it was awesome. It made the game scarier.

This port doesn't look much better, lackluster effort.

cool but it doesn't look that much better than the 3DS version as Cone said

I concur.

I'm surprise what little difference there is from the Free Demo in the 3DS eShop.

I hope people can still use motion sensors to aim, and play in 3D on 3D TVs & 3D Monitors. Its cool to be aiming for real in real life thanks to the motion sensors, which makes it more of a life or death situation with your controller being like a gun because of the Gyro Aiming.....I can see the Wii U version doing that.

Now everyone will buy it. But when it was on 3DS noone cared.

On a more positive note, I'm glad this game gets more exposure. Though my backlog is growing and I've only played through the demo of this (even if I own it...), this is a gem just for the few moments I've played of it.

Are you kidding? its not that nobody cared, its no one was going to buy a whole new machine just to play one RE game, most people arent THAT big of fans. Now its coming to systems that alot of people have and a huge RE fanbase.

I'm really glad more people will get the opportunity to play this game. It's the best game I've played on 3DS and the best RE game since 4.

if this was coming to Vita i would buy it. i have a big enough PS3 batlog and loads of games for it this year already. maybe il pick it up for £5 in a year or so

Ok so what difference does it make being able to play it on your PSV or Ps3?, if its about portablity pick up the 3DS version .

because i want a portable game on my vita.. not my PS3. infact i think i already explaind my reason in the post you quoted. nah not untill it has a couple of Zelda games :P

What i got from you reasons not to buy the game was "I wont buy it on my PS3 cos the is no vita port," And thats why i said if you wanted to play it on a portable buy a 3Ds as its the only way your going to be able to . Plus why need lots of Zelda when you get plenty of other great games .

KH3D, fire emblem, Mario 3D land, Zelda OOt Remake, Kid Icrus, Mario Kart 7, Resident Evil R etc etc, All them games added together is enough to make anyone want to buy a new system imo. Not to mention all the great games thats coming to the 3DS .

yeh but unlike the Vita it doesnt have the games that appeal to me. im not interested in Mario and i wouldnt use RE as a reason to buy a 3DS. im not despirate to play it at all haha thats why i said Zelda as i love Zelda. if i buy a 3DS it will be when it has 2 or 3 Zelda games on it :D

like i said i have a huge backlog of PS3 games that will take me right up to and maybe past PS4 release so im not going to add to that with games i dont care much about. i would rather have it on Vita where there are only 3 or 4 games releasing this year that im interested in.

No, I agree with you. But even if you don't buy a game, it's nice every now and then to hear some positive feedback about the game and system from people, even if as customers it doesn't make them buy it. RE:R is the kind of  game which alone makes a platform enviable. To dismiss the 3DS altogether is to dismiss the alluring nature of this game, imho.
