Theoretically the N64 had the better sound and music since it generated the sounds where the PS1 used soundfiles so the disks basically had the sounds not the PS1 ;)

I like Goldeneye's soundtrack better. Syphon Filter's soundtrack isn't bad though, there are more sound threads because of the gigantic disk space but it amazes me the kind of sound quality Rare was able to produce on a cartridge.
