Pros:

You get to play this bad boy in September

Pros: ⇒ Great Graphics!
⇒ Gravity Rush

Cons: ⇒ Price
Memory Card Price

Change these things and the first game im buying is gravity rush!

The Pros: The hardware itself is sleek and easy to use. Very intuitive. Good response time. Dualshock controlls (2 analog sticks) without the R2, L2 buttons. Great technical specs for a handheld.

The Cons: Very expensive (handheld and memory cards) Game library just isn't there yet and the way it's currently selling, not sure it'll ever get there due to developers wanting to make games for the more successful 3DS. Hasn't found it's niche yet: Still not sure if it's trying to be a PSP2, a Pocket Ps3, a Pocket Ps2 with Ps3 online capabilities, ect. Doesn't have that 1 stand out console seller.

What Sony needs to do: Cut the price right now $100. It's drastic, and Sony will likely lose a lot of money, but it'll work in the long run. Developers will come make what the Vita needs most: GAMES. Better/more advertising.

Currently own:

  • Ps4

Currently playing: Witcher 3, Walking Dead S1/2, GTA5, Dying Light, Tomb Raider Remaster, MGS Ground Zeros

Pros: It's like a PSP with dual analogs.

Cons: It's like a PSP without games.

Make it right by: MOAR GAMES.

And not just more games, but some serious system sellers. It's nice to see things like Lone Survivor and Binding of Isaac and (inshallah) Hotline Miami coming to Vita. But Sony is off their nut if they really believe what they've been spitting about how they think indie devs can save the system.

What Can Sony Do To Make It Right?

PSV has a respectable library of title for the hardcore gameres. However those gamers represent just a segment of the market, other segments like woman and children don't have many title that appeal to them available on the console so far. Making some of the Sony's main studios develop titles for those types of gamers could be a smart way to increase PSV sales.

Pros: It's the greatest handheld of all time.

Cons: Not to many people know it's the greatest handheld of all time.

I think the biggest pro should be its OS, it's practically flawless IMO and has tonnes of features. All it really needs is a more open app section on the PS Store.

Obvious problems are the price of memory cards and lack of system selling games.

It's a shame it's so expensive, because it has a lot of good games in Japan (both now and upcoming) and is proving itself to be a superb platform for small-medium developers and game projects.

Now if only the big developers would get serious about it. Assassin's Creed was probably the best done big name title so far, and that's kind of sad.
