Forums - Gaming - Ubisoft: "The only reason for [Rayman's] delay is to release on multiple platforms."

still so far the dumbest decision this year in the video game industry and it will only get a lot worst

Why can't Nintendo fans get the game first, we have to wait for aliens colonial marines for no apparent reason when ps3/360 owners get that game first. I really think legends is going to flop on all three platforms now.

Ok Ubisoft, delay rayman for wii u but if you don't release watch dogs on the system, then i have no reason to buy any of your games again.

I couldn't give a fuck that its going multiplat.... its the fact that we have to wait 6 more months just to play it when its scheduled to release in 3 weeks. why not release the WiiU version now, "in its schedule".. and release the other versions when its ready...

Shocking news. They don't wanna deal with multiple marketing campaigns, hopefully nintendo fans now you understand.

Exactly... a lot of people crying for nothing.

Why they have to spend money in two marketing campaings or everything else two time? That just a business decision.

That's will cost more money to publish/marketing the game that already have low sales.

One single release brings savings to the company.

And a bad business decision, as you can see alot of wiiu owners now refuse to purchase the game and cancelled pre-orders, and it's not going to sell well on ps3/360, it will flop on all three systems.

Ubisoft has gotten very close to EA in douchebaggery, and that is saying a lot.

The game will sell 300-400k alone in PS3 and 360 (near 800k total)... I can't see this game selling more than 50k on Wii U even releasing now.

At the end expend two time in a publish/marketing campaing with this game is a wrong decision because it is not that game that sells a lot... near 1 million lifetime accross all plataforms is the high.

For gamers it's a bad decision but I can't see how that can be bad for Ubisoft... for the business it's a reasonable decision.

Way to treat your developers and consumers, Ubi. You won't be getting any of my money after this farce. The game will flop, and deservedly so.

The game will sell way better than it would have as an exclusive. The WiiU version might sell worse because of people's "outrage" but it won't affect the other versions.

But it would even sell better, if they release the completed game on WiiU now and in september the ports.Because it would not basically affecting sales on PS360, but the sales on WiiU.
