Forums - General - Logical proof for God

I stopped watching at Entropy. This guy should 1st take a class in Thermodynamic and than preach about "God" since he obviously doesn't grasp the concepts.

And in scientific terms "nothing" means random quantum fluctuations which can produce matter and energy out of nothing.

Logic also says that God, assuming that he truly is almighty, knew about every decision that every single human ever will make before he started creating anything. All the pain and suffering that ever has or will happen in the entire world could have been prevented if God wanted to. But, apparently, he is letting us live through all of it for some malevolent reason.

Let's do some more logical thinking: If God already knows who will end up in heaven and hell eventually, why not just skip this entire part filled with the aforementioned pain and suffering and send the eventual ill-makers to hell immediately and reward those who will go to heaven?

Not only is the pain unnecessary. But life itself.

we do not live in heaven that's why life is the way it is. it's part of the test some people are good and other are bad that's what heaven and hell is there for

we have free choice and the choice to hurt each other comes from humans not being able to live in harmony with one another. imagine if the human was created so that no wars would happen and there would be no diseases what would happen to humans?

why God does not put people in heaven and hell? well he could do that but then you would ask God "what did I do to end up in hell?" and the other "what did I do to deserve this reward in heaven?". he already knows what you will do but you don't that's why you have to live life, to find out why you end up in hell or heaven.

Aw... I thought this was going to be someone asking for logical proof of god. To which I wanted to reply "Ask America's smartest man"

Why create "bad" people at all then? If God already knows they will be bad, he shouldn't create them. That way, he wouldn't have to waste time with a "test" he knows the answer to and there would never be people asking God "why do I deserve this?" because they would have never been created in the first place.

I stopped at the point when the guy began preaching that explosions only cause destruction and not create life. A star creates countless elements in it's core and these are not destroyed when it dies. If these people really need a ''creator'' in their lives, they only need to look up into the sky at the sun.

Also his suggestion of the big bang theory being possible within the limits of religion are laughable. He's saying that there is a consious entity out there that was able to control all elements of the entire universe and bend them to it's will?

Here is the bottom line.
The story he tells about the palace.
He, and the religious, think of us and our existence as the palace when in actuality, we are the chaos.

It is a self-centric, terribly arrogant view to think of ourselves as perfection. A rock stays on earth far longer than we do. The wind can move faster. The water is more resilient. Why are we superior? Because we can think? Such a naive childish answer, like a rich man thinking he is better than a poorer man. It's a meaningless, insignificant value that we've attributed to ourselves because it is something we ourselves desire. We value ourselves, therefore we are sacrosanct. Nonsense.

" This is where science contradicts science" He's wrong...there is no claim that the universe is perfect. As a matter of fact, there is quite a few arguments over its many flaws.

Or God could just say that, "If you were to live for 80 years on Earth, you would end up in hell due to your arrogance and selfishness which will affect your judgement. Trust me, I am God."

Who wouldn't trust God to tell the truth?

Ugghh, I can't stand people who point to MAN-MADE objects for proof that everything has a creator. Of course man-made objects have a creator since they were created by man. This has no implication on the state of non-man-made objects.

wouldn't you believe in him if he personally told you that?
