Guillermo Del Toro is making the "dark 3D stop-motion Movie", known as Pinocchio 3D, which releases this year (2013):

LOL, what about 2K14, with such movies as Godzilla 3D & The Avengers 2 3D & the Amazing Spider-Man 2 3D & Independence Day 2 3D & Captain America 2 3D & so on and so fort, LOL?

Who voted for R.I.P.D.?

Also what is it about this Comic Book Movie you like and/or look forward to?

Because I know next to nothing about this seemingly awesome 3D Movie.

Also thanks for the vote for R.I.P.D. 3D.

Here's the Thread's official song for the upcoming Iron Man 3, even though it's most likely not in the movie, LOL:

So will Iron Man 3 in IMAX make people who hate 3D to start loving 3D?

Impossible to say in advance. Depends on the quality of the 3D effects. I for one didn't care much for 3D, watched the hobbit 3D in cinema and it did nothing for me. But I got Dredd 3D earlier this week from lovefilm and it was really awesome. I am still not "loving" 3D but if it's well executed, why not.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Well, I saw the 48 fps 3D IMAX Version of the Hobbit and it looked fine to me.

And I can see that you are easily going to win your bet with think-man. So what happens when you win the bet?

All right, I have just seen Jurassic Park 1 3D and the movie wasn't as great today as it was back then.

When I went to see this movie, I saw the new 3D Trailer for Despicable Me 2 which must had been like 3 minutes long, and it stars Steve Carell (of course) & Kristen Wilo (or whatever her last name is) & Al Pachino & Miranda Cosgrove & Russell Brand & Steve Coogan & Ken Jeoho.

Anyways 2 black guys die in this movie, so it was a twofer (quote from "Canadian Bacon" about this same movie, LOL)

The 3D was great but looked artificial during a bunch of certain scenes, including the flashlights up-close in the converted movie.

Today, this movie would be too short with too little storylines.

The movie doesn't scare you until act 3, but it works like "Life of Pi" where you know the Tiger is coming but you still jump out of your seat because of survival instinct, LOL.

I couldn't help notice when they where in the cars with no drivers, that the cars had stereoscopic 3D Cameras, but yet the movie was clearly recorded in 2D LOL.

the CGI in the beginning of the movie is weak by today's standards but gets plenty good later on in the movie, when it is used even more later on.

All & all, I hope Jurassic Park 4 3D (2K14) is made by modern day standards in the script.

I love your enthusiasm for 3D :)

My opinion is that most movies, particularly those with 3D effects added in post-production, are not really worth it -- especially considering movie tickets are more expensive when the screening is in 3D.

If the movie is designed with 3D in mind, and filmed with 3D cameras, it's a different story. Avatar is the most obvious example. That movie, above all others, proves the usefulness of 3D movie technology. But no one has really built upon its success in the past three years.

I have both Avatar amd Hugo in 3D, and Hugo definitely does more with 3D than Avatar did. In any case, I agree that things look better in 3D than in 2D HD. I can barely get myself to play my 3DS games in 2D mode, I play most of my PS3 games in 3D mode and even the Wii game I'm playing currently, Zelda Skyward Sword, looks sharper when I use my TV's "convert 2D to 3D" feature. The text is easier to read and the textures look better.

@OP, I couldn't vote in the polls because I really want to see Man of Steel, Ironman 3 and Thor
