- Game genre variety, not only shooters
- Local multiplayer focus
- Fair price for the consoles
- Best first-party IPs
- Best controllers

Hate

- They fell to the DLC industry
- 60$ games on Wii U

Best thing about them, as far as I´m concerned, is the local multiplayer.Countless hours of fun playing SSBB and Mario Kart with friends.

- The current IP's
- Handheld systems
- Very good JRPG's
- Home systems
- Good controllers

Dislike -
- Region Locking
- Low battery life on the 3DS
- Weak third-party software
- Localizes games a bit too slow for my taste

I like Nintendo because they always try something new with many of their consoles (N64~ 3D, Wii~ motion control, Gameboy~ first proper gaming handheld, 3DS~ first handheld with 3D etc.), their first party franchises are by far the best. Very reliable hardware like Sony. Often very affordable systems.

I don't like Nintendo because they rely to much on Mario and Zelda, what about there other big franchises? Donkey Kong only just got a new game after 10 years of nothing and Pikmin is only just getting a new game, what about other franchises? Wave race? F-zero? But anyway, 3rd party support wasn't the best since the N64, Nintendo needs to do more to get support, they need it. They also fall behind on key gaming features like Online, which is only just being properly implemented with the Nintendo network, despite being on Xbox for 10 years and Playstation for 5/6 years!

Like:
Game for all - Myriad of genres and games designed to appeal to everyone
Generation of Young Interest - I wouldn't like video games if not for Nintendo, so introducing the hobby to me is a pretty big part of me.

Dislike:
Predictability: Since they largely are given a free pass by their fans, they rarely ever feel pressure to do all that much

i neither love or hate them

but i liked them very much during n64 times(best gaming period ever
mario 64
dc 64
1080
wave racer
iss64
ki
etc etc

I still liked them in the gamecube times,
but since than they simply stopped producing great games(f zero,ki) and no new great ip's since pikmin.
DS horrible graphics,wii also(and after buying my first lcd tv wii games looked even worser)
low tech 3ds,low tech Meh U.
Instead of creating new ip's wasting money to make monster hunter and dragon quest exclusiv.Making them exclusiv=making them ugly because of nintendo lowtech.I don't mind whether those games are released on nintendo systems or not but I want to have a choice to play them with great graphics on other systems or ugly graphics on a nintendo system.
