Why? The game being good or bad doesn't have anything to do with aging consoles.
|
It actually does. This gen is coming to an end and publishers are milking their IP. Just look at Final Fantasy Xiii-2 and Xiii-3. Publishers are taking advantage of the unusually long generation and sometimes that means release sequels to games that are better left in the drawing board. |
That's not the problem of the consoles. That's a problem of the greedy publishers and devs, if they wanted they could have just made a new game, or not make anything. This game would have had the same score if it was on the new consoles.
|
No. This is a business and publishers need to make money. THEY NEED TO RELEASE NEW GAMES. Making sequels is a lot easier/cheaper/safer than making a new IP. If this game was on new consoles, it would be a completely different game, or it wouldn't even exist at all.

Yes they need to make money. The point is that it doesn't matter if the game releases on the PS4 or 720, the game would have had the same score. Again the problem is the publishers and devs NOT the aging consoles.
Or are you implying this is MS and Sony's fault for not launching new consoles sooner?
