Just watched it and I love what I saw.

Very true....its almost embarrasing to watch most of the time....one more reason why I tend to ignore reviewers. I should prbably give the game a shot. I have access to the beta, but I just haven't felt like playing yet. |
This game looks to have so much variation (I will miss the Icarus wings since this is before GOW2) . I am wondering if you can throw the swords at enemies with lock on like a dart. That would save me some trouble of getting swarmed by larger enemies while im taking out the smaller ones. The chain grab is really, really satisfying to look at because now I can enemies like scorpion and drag them over to me. It seems to be a supplement to chain shoulder rush from GOW 3, so I will see if I can incorporate that in the air as well as the ground. That guy showed zero launchers so I dont know if it will be the same. He's using a much smaller blade compared to previous GOW games.
So heres my point of view of GOWA
Level design is better than ever ( what i dont like about GOW 3 was the level design, GOW2 had far better level design but GOWA when i judge it from all the trailers will beat GOW2)
The Monster design is incredible and the battles are more spectacular than ever
The levels and monster are all epic and big
I really like the part when Kratos is sliding down that building when he kills the first big monster. It looks like Santa Monica Studios take that gameplay from Ghost of Sparta which is a good thing in my eyes.
The game isvisuelly impressive. Im kinda blown away.
All in all i think GOWA will make the same thing GOW2 did in pS2 times. Make evcerything more better, more epic, more spetacular. This game will be huge.

Its funny that you say Ghost of Sparta, because I remember think this new game is going to be a blend of GOS and Part two with PS3 graphics. I hope its longer than part three, if so that game will go down in Sony history. The multiplayer is already pretty damn good and people are already mastering it. It's pretty deep.

Rage meter adjustment: Ability to use it more than once per fight (up to three times) + Moveset for it??
This game is cooking up to be pure mayhem!
It seems to set the bar yet again in terms of visuals and sense of scale, after GOW III. Though I must say that I was particularly impressed by the lighting and textures. Didn't expect anything less. Though I can't say anything about the story and multiplayer, as I haven't tried the latter.

That game looked amazing... I've never even played a GoW game before.. Might have to get this one. Or, wait for a late sequel on PS4, 4-5 years down the road. Then again...what the heck am I saying? Waiting that long is insane...
