It would sell fine if EA wasn't trying to maliciously and deliberately sabotage the Wii U.

Well the Wii's Madden sold less than 500k each.

Those pointing out how poorly Madden 13 sold on Wii U -- yeah, and it launched 2.5 months after the other versions, towards the end of football season, with lesser features.

They released a gimped version late. Of course it sold horribly. If they were willing to release an equal version at the same time, it might actually (gasp) sell pretty well.

I'm surprised no one else has noted the absense of a Vita version.

EA has seen Madden sales for Wii U. There's no reason to launch in the console if there aren't plans to build an installbase, they should be happy with PS360 sales.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Which is much better than the Wii U version currently.

The writing is clear as day that EA has worked to self-sabotage their Wii U offerings so that they can, henceforth, justify releasing 0 games on the platform.

I can only hope that heads roll in the EA boardroom because of this.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Guess we will see how the sports landscape plays out with future version of fifa and nba2k series, which also suffered lower sales on the Wii U despite not being gimped. And whether these developers design their Wii U games to mirror PS360 or the next PS360

What does EA have to gain from sabotaging the Wii U?

I guess now we know what Retro is working on. Retro NFL Football, back from the dead!

So they made their games bomb on purpose? How does that even make sense? If they don't want to make games for the Wii U, there is nothing to stop them from saying, "Fuck U, we're not making games for the Wii U."
