I do know as of April 2012 Sony has 13 first party studios.

I'm pretty sure Poject siren is not a game but the studio/tam that handles the siren games.
Also if you want you could add Marvelous to 3rd party partnership in japan since they are making soul sac for sony.
And Bend is working on a vita title and not ps3. They also made UC GA.

Just some things you might or might not want to change on the sony list.


All in all i have to say that's an overwhelming amount of data and hard to draw a conclusion from other then "wow all three are involved with a lot of studios".

Shouldn't Platinum Games be listed under Nintendo? They are making wonderful 101 and bayo2 exclusively for the Wii U...

Also, I'm not sure if it counts but there's also Cellius. It's a joint venture between SONY and Namco that started in March 2007. They're main things is research of game technology but they are considered a game studio and they did develop Ridge Racer Vita.

EDIT: Oh, Studio Cambridge is now a subsidery of Guerilla Games and is now known as Guerilla Cambridge.

Isn't Nihilistic the studio which made Resistance and Cod for Vita ?    If it is, I hope they are doing nothing.

Shortly after Declassified flopped, Nihilistic Software renamed themselves to nStigate Games and will be focusing on mobile games from now on.

They may have opened more up, but IGN, Colin Moriraty to be exact, reported how many studios they had left after Sont went through a period of closings. 3 of the 13 were only doing Vita and Playstaion home stuff.
