No, not really. Luffy might have been able to fight against Z on equal grounds, but Z was old, close to death anyways and very slow due to his Kairoseki (Sea Stone) arm, all of which benefited Luffy as kind of a light weight character. Just look at how Kizaru wiped the ground with Z in both fights (except the Dyna-Stone desperation attack Z didn't land a single real hit against Kizaru) and it becomes clear Luffy is still far away from being admiral level. He might be able to hold his own for some time against them, but currently I don't think he has any true chance of winning against them. That being said I think he should wipe the ground with most vice-admirals by now^^

I can't believe i forgot to post here after i got caught up.

Things are getting decently complicated. I'm subscribing to the theory floating around that Doflamingo is cutting some sort of deal with the World Government to give them the Straw Hats and/or Law in exchange for some sort of protection, and he either hasn't resigned, or is attempting to resign on good turns.

Between CP0 and the top Doflamingo family people, there's enough people for all the Straw Hats and Kinemon to get a fight this run. I hope i hope i hope.

this arc can turn out to be one of the best arcs in all of One Piece! THe tourny by itslef is exciting! NN is really pointing at rebecca

Hmm, that's a plausible theory.

It also may be possible that the CP0 is after CC and the Marine sees the opportunity to get the Straw Hats, Law and the Doflamingo family in one move. So much potential for theories in this arc :D

The anime's done a good job of portraying just how much Law realized he's in way over his head with an alliance with the Straw Hats. The look on his face when they tried tying Chopper to his head last week was priceless.
