They'll want to release a re-make before they release a successor to Gen 6. They have already had a Gen 5 successor recently so it wouldn't make too much sense for another one so soon.

I'm also hoping for a Sapphire re-make. :o

Pokemon Z will come out b4 pokemon remake Sapphire/Ruby

I doubt that. We haven't had a re-make in awhile. We just had a successor.

TBH i rather have a remake before third installment and its a smarter move imo, but you need to realize that pokemon x and y wont have all the new pokemon (formes) and they'll have to promote the third legendary cuz it'll be stupid to bring it out after a remake since it'll be 2 most likely 3 years after so 2016. Thats way too late, thats why Heart/Gold came out last in the 3rd year of gen 4!

They need more Pokemon games that combine 2 regions ala gold/silver. PLS NINTENDO PLS

The only reason I have ever wanted a MMO game was because that would combine ALL regions.

I want a game that combines every region in the series.  Has 8 gyms per region.  Has multiple final fours and so on.

Why a gold/silver when they could just release a game called "Pokemon"  Just that.

fyi, I dont' want an MMO, I like pokemon as it is.  Just brought up MMO, cause if there was one, it woud feature all regions.

Who thinks a red/blue & ruby/sapphire hybrid would be awesome

I'm pretty sure Platinum was released some time after D/P. The Pokemon Co. should just do that again.

I'm a gigantic Pokemon fan. I'm pretty heavy into the competitive battling scene (although not as much lately) and I have a few boxes full of battle ready EV trained Pokemon. It's a series that I can always be nostalgic about and it makes me feel like a child again.

That being said, 3rd gen was my least favorite in the series. I liked a lot of the cool things you can do such as secret bases and diving n such, but other than that I really disliked 3rd gen.

I hated the starters, they were all pretty terrible looking. Mudkip was alright but became so..hideous lol. the other two just seem really generic. The land of Hoen actually bored me and for whatever reason seemed less interesting compared to Kanto/Johto. Also that's when they started introducing a whole bunch of legendaries in each installment.

I really hope a 3rd gen remake never happens. But it probably will at some point. >_

Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire was the best Gen! It had some of the best Pokemon and one of my favorite Regions ever; Hoenn. That region was really interesting to me and I liked all the characters in it too. May was introduced and I liked Steve as a Pokemon Trainer a lot.

Maybe I like it so much because I grew up with it and the Anime for it but... I can't wait for a Gen 3 remake!

Was it the first Pokemon game you played o.o? Steve was alright. I actually really liked Wally as a trainer. Still though, I have some kind of hatred for 3rd gen, it just didn't have the magic for me as the others did.

I really like the 3rd Ruby/Sapphire were great and the mini-remake Emerald was fantastic(ranks 2nd in favorite pokemon games of all time)

I agree with NintendoPie. The 3rd Gen was the best with an actual adventure & really good region

And it was the 2nd Gen that started the trend of too many legendary's, like 6 or so in the 2nd gen

Plus the 3rd had the best story & music with the greatest kinds of places to explore.

The 4th Gen was the worst because it didn't even try to give us a region full of actual places to explore, instead we had unfinished stuff for places in the region with almost nothing to the entire game for any & every aspect. The 4th Gen was like playing the 1st Gen for a game that was suppose to be the 4th generation.

I understand what you mean about the starters, but there is so much more to the game, like bad guys with an actual purpose, unlike D/P where they had very little purpose.

When I play Pokemon, I want to go on a adventure, as well as just going around catching Pokémon.

The 6th Gen looks like it really has a good region to explore to stumble upon all sorts of greatness and good adventures, like the 3rd Gen........I'm hoping for a big vast land with a lot of mystery & intrigue, and also a very good storyline behind the Legendaries and main enough characters & so fort. But the 6th Gen starters look the worst but I hope they evolve into something cool, I was thinking about getting the Water like I always do, but now I'm thinking of getting the Grass starter instead.

The Pokémon games I would suggest to Noobs are Heartgold or SoulSilver & Black or White 1 & 2 and Emerald.

As I said before I hope we either get 3rd Gen Remake or Rainbow edition.

And I hope the 6th Gen allows us to explore all the old regions but I'm starting to doubt that even more.

I'm sorry, dear OP, but you will edit that RubyRed and SapphireBlue part out of your post immediately or add a copyright from my part on it. I came up with the idea of RR and SB long before you or anyone else and I will not have anyone trying to take the credit for it. ;P
