By now everybody knows pokemon X and Y are coming out this year with Z likely in 2014. I think its a safe bet that they will release the gen 3 remake probably in 2015/16 but what after that, gen 7 or do they remake gen 1? I know they already remade gen 1 but it would be the only gen not playable on 3DS so i think another remake would be great. Another idea that isnt likely but I think would be neat is release RubyRed and SapphireBlue, a game that somehow combines gen 1 and 3.

They need more Pokemon games that combine 2 regions ala gold/silver. PLS NINTENDO PLS

Im gonna say it'll be pokemon x/y in 2013 (comnfirmed) promote spin offs have maybe a wii u title like XD or Revolution, then Pokemon Z in 2015 yes 2 years later just like diamond/pearl to platinum. Then in 2016 Emerald Remake (calling this now) with lots of extra content and 2017 gen 7!!!

Honestly, I've gotten tired of new Pokemon, I like the old sooo much better!

New Pokemon Stadium for WiiU, with 3DS, online, and Miiverse compatibility.

They'll want to release a re-make before they release a successor to Gen 6. They have already had a Gen 5 successor recently so it wouldn't make too much sense for another one so soon.

I'm also hoping for a Sapphire re-make. :o

I personally think at we are either getting 3rd Gen remake or Rainbow Edition because of the 3D.

The 7th Gen after that on the 3DS with Pokédex 3D Pro graphics seems like the logical step after that. (Pokédex 3D Pro is like 375 MB)

The 6th Gen seems to be for appealing to the 2D sprite lovers while giving us other fans the 3D graphics we want with this kind of style Cell-Shaded graphics (you should check pout "Gunman Clive" cell-shaded graphics style)

I can see this 6th Gen graphics as being use in a way to bring gamers who are afraid of change to like Pokédex 3D Pro Polygon style graphics in future Gens.

I would also like Pokémon Snap 3D, maybe as an eShop exclusive, but either way, I would want a really good story for a on rail Shooter LOL and also a way & reason to come across every Pokémon including some shiny ones.

The one thing I like the most about the 3rd & 5th Gen is the Adventure and after that is the story which is also surprisingly good.

I personally not a fan of Gen 1 & 4 because they are not that much of an adventure, nor do they have that much of a story; and therefore are the weakest main games as far as I'm concerned, but at least the first one was the first game and did good at that.

I doubt that. We haven't had a re-make in awhile. We just had a successor.
