Music collection on my PC...ripped CD's etc.

You absolutely can not copy over music using windows explorer drag and drop. Its a hassle and its completely unnecessary. You guys know exactly what i mean when i say iOS is closed off...apple themselves dont even deny it. Its an inconvenience to the user and SOME people don't like it. Its really that simple.

Some people don't like the "complexity" of an android phone etc. We all have our preferences and thats what i was pointing out in my initial post. Otherwise i think we going off topic here.

I enjoy having the closed off-ness of iOS. It's worked better than anything I've ever used. (Maybe it's because I use a MacBook, iPod, iPad, and iTunes. That might make it simpler. Still, I enjoy the hassle-free OS that Apple runs.)

Nexus 4, top of the line hardware and for cheap. Probably the best value I've seen in a phone... except i don't think it has a micro SD slot.

I agree with that though. If you already have a vested interest in the iOS platform then by all means get the iPhone.

YES! I love using iTunes.

I don't know why so many people hate it.

The Galaxy S3 is great and the Galaxy S2 is still pretty good. But you should seriously consider the Galaxy Note 2 or the still good Galaxy Note. I love mine and I'll never go back to the small screens of regular size phones. It still fits in my pocket so it's not too big.

I find this really difficult to comprehend...

Get a dumb phone. Even they have qwerty keyboards and colour screens these days. Spend the money on fun games. The worst thing is people say they got the phone for $100-150 but than spend $50-70 a month for next 2-3 years. I'd be interesting to see how many people buy those $600 plus phones if they were not paying the money over time.

If everything i said was useless than go for HTC/Samsung. To my liking the android phones are just getting bigger and bigger. I have the S2 which is 4.3" screen. It is considered one of the smaller ones on android. The upcoming Sony one looks like a great product with 5" screen. Almost like a mini tablet which you can make calls on .
