Don't forget Microsoft! They are facing some big fines for having IE the only internet browser on some computers. Soon there will be a saying, "You haven't made it, until the EU fines you!"

The fines probably go towards further prosecutions against corporations who are reckless with consumer data. I'd rather that occur than the British tax payer funding these cases completely.

Bullshit, sure Sony was a damn fool with security, but unless the 250K goes to those who had their info leaked, well... just money grabbing by another body.
