The Last of Us is the very best the PS3 can ever hope to achieve and with the short video Monolith had shown; X already surpasses that game in visuals!!!

Now, now, let's not get ahead of ourselves. The game looks fantastic, but TLOU has a lot going for it.

How did I know that people were going to start comparing an open world game to ones very different in design and graphical priorities?

Hey, hey. TLOU is open world too, isn't it? And, those...those animations!

Wrong. It is supposedly "less linear" than Uncharted, but it will not be open-world.

Seriously? That's disappointing. I suppose it's still unfeasible to produce such a cinematic game while remaining entirely nonlinear.

Whoa impressive especially since this is there first time developing a game for an hd system.

Not to be a debbie downer, but I believe this will be one of the better looking games on the U, like the original Galaxy was for the Wii (which was released only one year later of the console launch).

So, honestly, I don't expect a lot of games to look better in the future than this one.

I don't think so. The Wii basically used the Gamecube architecture, and EAD Kyoto built an amazing GC engine and were incredibly familiar with it.

Wii U is new tech, so the best is still to come.

I LOVE ICELAND!

I don't like the darker tone and color palette. I much prefer the more whimsical look of Xenoblade. But I have to admit I would definitely pay $59 for this, regardless of the minor qualms/ nitpickiness I have with it

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

First-parties typically make the best use of their company's hardware as they generally have the hardware in possession longer than anyone else, and of course the engineers for the hardware are employed by the same people they are.  That probably doesn't hurt, either.

I liked it quite alot but then I saw a mech and thought MEEEEEEEEEEH.... I hate mecks so much I mean give them planes or tanks or whatever but dont give them blocky humanlike robots fighting with robot swords etc thats so much bullshit....

Anyways after Xenoblade I will still buy it but I will be sad...

Not a big mecha fan myself either, but seeing how there were times he was not in a mecha and not to mention the gas thing shown on the mecha I'm guessing you can decide to not be in the mecha if you want.  In that case I will probably just use it as a mode of transportation then at best

I don't see the reason for the close up shot of the face unless it was Shulk, making it a sequel to Xenoblade. If it is Shulk, you can bet he'll be in Smash Bros. Really hope we don't have to wait until E3 for more info on this game.

Finally!! A WiiU game that looks next-gen.
